Losing candidate Chel Diokno just made a statement that it will be hard
to find another Noynoy Aquino Jr.
“It will be hard to find a President like Noynoy Aquino. He was dedicated to his work and devoted to the people,” said Diokno.

“While no president is perfect, just as none of us are, he gave his best for our country, and showed us that public office is a public trust,” Diokno added.
He describes the late president as a “gentleman, servant leader, at
responsible president.”
“I miss his sense of humor, his sense of curiosity about the
world, and the conversations we had that ranged far and wide and covered so
many topics. He was a gentleman, a servant leader, and a responsible
President,” he adds.

The former president died last June 24, 2021, at 61 years old
from renal disease secondary to diabetes.
A mass for his death anniversary was held at the Church of
Gesu sa Ateneo de Manila University.
