Kiko Dares Inday Sara Duterte to Debate Too

 

Francis “Kiko” Pangilinan is also doing the hat trick Vice president Len Robredo failed to do with rival and currently front runner Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr.

Pangilinan has dared rival Sara Duterte to a debate, one of the ways the voters can assess their "suitors" for the 2022 elections.  It might be remembered that such idea of the vice president was shut down by the UniTeam camp.

The Marcos-Duterte tandem, who are running under their "unity" platform, has shunned debates and other fora to focus on different provincial campaign sorties.

Pangilinan is currenty third in the surveys as seen from the March 17 to 21 Pulse Asia survey period, chosen by 15% of the respondents, with Duterte in the lead.

"Susugan ko rin ang hamon ni VP Leni kay Ginoong Bongbong Marcos at sa aking katunggali, kay Davao City Mayor Inday Sara Duterte na dumalo dahil bukod tangi sila sa lahat ng mga kandidato na hindi kailanman nagpakita sa mga debate," Pangilinan said in a statement.

President Rodrigo Duterte's daughter owes it to the Filipino people to bare her plans if ever she wins the vice presidential race, the senator said. 

"Madalas ang mga hindi nagpapakita ay may mga itinatago. Mayroon kayang itinatago ang kampo ng Marcos-Duterte? Patunayan n'yong wala.”

The Davao Mayor has been quoted as early as March that she would not join any debates ahead of the May 9 national polls.
