Negativity has
no place in a campaign.
Cavite Governor
Jonvic Remulla just made known that he appealed to Vice President Leni Robredo
not to give in to hate amid the fiercely contested 2022 presidential elections.
Robredo’s army of
supporters are also encouraged to keep the campaign free of hate and division.
Remulla said they could not win support if they insult and alienate people with
opposing views.

The latest appeal was
made after the governor rebuffing Robredo’s lack of action criticism against
Lacson.
VP Leni in her
interview as regards the elections had some unflattering words about her rivals
when she was asked why the electorate should not vote for them.
She claimed
that Lacson is a senator that talks too much but lacks actual action on the ground.
The senator clapped back at the Vice President and saying it was not only his
style to be epal.
“Sana maalala ni VP
Leni ang aking payo sa kanya: That no matter what happens, please do not give
in to the hate,” Remulla said on Facebook.
Remulla also appealed
to Robredo’s supporters, also known as kakampinks, against resorting to insults
while campaigning for their candidate.
“The same goes to her
supporters. The best way to champion your candidate or political stand is not
through hate and divisiveness,” he said.
“You can never
convince other people to join your cause if all you do is look down, insult,
ridicule and alienate those who do not share the same views as you.Let’s just
all agree to disagree,” he added.
