of senator Bong Go to the presidential race means there is no direct
endorsement from the Chief Executive and
Marcos camp takes this as a signal for "consolidation" of administration
forces to his presidential bid.

Duterte administration," he stressed.
Marcos said Go's withdrawal from the 2022 polls "only mirrored his
worth as a true public servant, one who is willing to sacrifice his personal

crucial to the national interest."
"President Duterte has achieved so much for the country in a short
period of time," he said.
Marcos said that "if given the chance," he and Duterte-Carpio
