Marcos Jr., and Davao City mayor Sara Duterte-Carpio joined them in a show of
force in their caravan in the National Capital Region’s biggest city – Quezon city.

Rep. Mike Defensor, one of those who organized the event, said the crowd was
“unprecedented”.
“The people came out of their houses
and occupied the Commonwealth and Quezon Avenues to express their support for
the BBM-Sara tandem. They represent the silent supermajority. This is
unprecedented,” Defensor said.
The motorcade started at the eastbound
lane of Commonwealth Avenue in Quezon City, in front of the Commission on Audit
(CoA) head office. It took a U-turn along Fairview and went through
Commonwealth Avenue all the way to Quezon Avenue and ended at the Welcome
Rotunda.
Rep. Defensor vowed to deliver more
than 750,000 votes for Duterte and Marcos in the upcoming elections.
“Based sa voters during last
election, may 1.3 million registered voters, assuming lang 1.3 and mayroon
tayong turnout na almost 80% or assume na rin natin na one million, tinataya
namin na ang boto ni Bongbong Marcos will be at 750,000 or more in Quezon City.
Ika nga supermajority in Quezon City,” Defensor said.
Defensor also expressed his belief
that the disqualification cases filed against Marcos are just harassment.
“Iyung machinations na iyan is just
to take out BBM na alam naman nating panalo na sa darating na halalan,”
Defensor added. “The only chance of the opponent or a candidate to win is to
disqualify BBM, other than that panalo na si BBM.”
