Kasal o Sakal:Manny Pacquiao, Leni Robredo meet at Cebu wedding

Is there any political maneuvering between senator Manny Pacquiao and Vice President Leni Robredo? Will there be tandem between them for the 2022 national elections.

Both were all smiles when they met at a wedding in Cebu Saturday (November 13).

A snapshot shared by Pacquiao’s staff showed the senator taking a selfie with Robredo. The two presidential aspirants were among the principal sponsors at the wedding of Cebu Rep. Rodrigo Abellanosa’s daughter.

The selfie sparked some speculations that they might be cooking something to counter the recently formed Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos, Jr. – Inday Sara Duterte-Carpio.

VP Leni is running alongside Liberal Party stalwart Senator Francis Pangilinan while Sen. Pacquiao’s vice presidential candidate is Buhay party-list Rep. Lito Atienza.

Below are some of the Tweets about the selfie:

“Sa weddings na pala nabubuo ang mga alliance ngayon. Well well, Sen. Pacquiao, please do something good for the [Philippine flag emoji]. Withdraw and support VP Leni,” tweeted @JuanaNoBanana.

“leni-pacquiao in 2022 pls for the sake of the opposition winning the elections,” tweeted @jjuddddddddd.

” I hope he withdraws his candidacy and support VP Leni instead. Who knows, this will put him in a much more favorable position for 2028,” @goingbananers tweeted.

“Manee….mas kahanga-hanga ka kung ikaw ay magiging kakam-pink… the best political move na hindi mo pagsisihan,” said @AarOwBee.
