Inday Sara Duterte-Carpio is gunning
for the vice presidency in 2022!
A face off between President Rodrigo
Duterte and his daughter, is on the horizon for the 2022 elections instead of
the Duterte-Duterte tandem that some supporters have been pushing for.
This happened as a shocker, as she
filed her certificate of candidacy for Vice President instead of answering the
clamor for her to succeed her father as the 17th president of the republic.

As Inday Sara filed her candidacy
through her authorized representative, Charo Munsayac, at the Commission on
Elections (Comelec) headquarters in Manila.
The Davao city mayor turned to God to
explain her surprising decision to run for vice president despite consistently
leading voter preference surveys for presidential bets.
One of Sara’s advisers, Albay Rep.
Joey Salceda, shared on Viber the mayor’s remark after a representative filed
her candidacy for vice president Saturday (November 13) at the Commission on
Elections (Comelec) main office in Manila .
“Alam ko ang nasa puso mo pero God
will explain in due time,” the mayor told Salceda, who actively pushed for Sara
to run for president.
