ALL 44 mayors of Cebu endorse BBM-Inday Sara tandem

 

The voting population of Cebu province could either break or make one’s dream of being the leader of this republic.

And if this is a good sign of that coming through, then former senator Bongbong Marcos should thank as early as now the 44 mayors of the island.

This follows as it was reported that all 44 mayors from Cebu have endorsed BBM-Sara Uni-Team as their official bet in the upcoming 2022 national elections.

"[On] behalf of all the 44 mayors of the province of Cebu, [particularly] the mayors of the fifth district, as well as my fellow mayors in the Visayas [of] whom I am the national vice president, we hereby express our unequivocal support to you for your candidacy, and we will do everything in our power to ensure an unequivocal victory in the coming elections," said LMP-Cebu chapter President Christina Franco , mayor of Liloan.

The endorsement from the LMP-Cebu mayors came a day after Pwersa ng Masang Pilipino (PMP) forged a four-party grand alliance to support the BBM-Sara UniTeam.

 Marcos thanked the Cebu mayors for supporting him and Inday Sara."It's a tremendous help. Of course, ang national candidate, eh, umaasa talaga 'yan sa mga (a national candidate really depends on) local government officials from governors to mayors up to the barangay (village) captains. Kaya ang (that is why an) endorsement like that ay (is) very welcome. I welcome it very much, and I thank all of those mayors in region seven [that] gave me and Inday Sara their support," Marcos said.

Franco adds that no other presidential candidate has Marcos’ competence and experience.

"We all have common hopes — the hopes that we can provide a better life for fellow Filipinos and our families — and pin our hopes on our next president; firm in the belief that he can deliver a bright and progressive future not only for Cebuanos, but to all our fellow Filipinos," Frasco added.
