The former Magdalo senator continues to give
public praises for the 1Sambayan presidential candidate, all for the 2022
natonal elections.
Former Senator Antonio Trillanes IV has been
hoping that Vice President Leni Robredo will now decide to run for the
presidency now that she has been formally endorsed by the opposition coalition.
He considers Robredo as the able leader and
savior that can fix all the mess President Rodrigo Ro Duterte has done.

“Now that the 1Sambayan has endorsed VP Leni, we
hope that she would be encouraged to finally decide and run for president. We,
in the Magdalo group, have been consistent in urging her to run as we believe
in her capacity to save the country from the mess duterte has put us into,”
Trillanes tweeted.
The rest of the Magdalo have promised to support
Robredo if she decides to take a shot at the presidency in the upcoming
elections.

1Sambayan recently
endorsed Robredo for president in next year’s elections, believing in her
integrity, competence and winnability. Robredo thanked the group for its
endorsement but still has not made up her mind on the matter.
Robredo continues to ponder and pray following the
growing clamor for her presidential run.
Trillanes earlier quoted
saying he would run for president if Robredo can’t make up her mind by October
8.
