Politiko website has reported that
former senator Bongbong Marcos is cool to the calls of him becoming the running
mate of Davao city Mayor Inday Sara Duterte-Carpio id the latter so decides.
According to Politiko, BBM wants
to run for president instead of campaigning again for the vice presidency.
Last elections he lost to Leni Robredo,
which led to an electoral protest in his behalf questioning the win of the
former.

Arroyo (GMA) is said to be in talks with Bongbong Marcos to run alongside
Duterte as vice president, but the ex-senator has not reportedly changed his
mind about seeking the presidency.
The possible
presidential bid of BBM has affected the political plans of other politikos,
such as Manila Mayor Isko Moreno.
Politiko’s source said
some businessmen interested in backing Moreno for president have withdrawn
support in favor of Duterte, who’s the candidate to beat in pre-election
surveys involving potential presidential bets.
