This was the reaction of Senate
President Tito Sotto on the fact that President Rodrigo Roa Duterte or his long
time loyal aide, Senator Bong Go, would also vie for the Vice Presidency in
2022.
“My focus is clear. I’m offering
my service to the Filipino Family and our people no matter who else is
running,” said Sotto in a text message.

It may be remembered that Sotto
has already intimated to the public that he would be the VP candidate to the
presidency aspirations of senator Ping Lacson next year.
But according to the reports Pres.
Duterte would abandon his VP run if his daughter, Davao City Mayor Inday Sara
Duterte, would run for president.
But this was premised on Sara
endorsing Go as her VP.
