Congratulations and Good job Philippine Coast
Guard!!!
A parola clas patrol vessel BRP BRP Cabra
(MRRV-4409) drove away Chinese People’s Liberation Army (PLA) Navy ship
189 from Marie Louise Bank which is 147 nautical miles from shoreline of El
Nido, Palawan last July 13.
According
to PCG report, BRP Cabra monitored the activity of said Chinese PLA Navy ship
and sent a radio challenge.

“Lumapit
Navy Warship sa katubigan,” PCG said.
According to the Philippine Coast Guard (PCG) after
the verbal challenge, the Chinese PLA Navy ship moved to leave Marie Louise
Bank. The PCG vessel followed to make sure the Chinese PLA Navy ship will leave
the said location which is within Philippines exclusive economic zone (EEZ).
message ang Chinese Navy Warship: “Philippine Coast Guard 4409, this is Chinese
Navy Warship 189. Please keep two nautical miles distance from me”,” PCG said.
PCG
said BRP Cabra continued its course on guarding the Chinese PLA Navy ship using
Rules on the Use of Force (RUF) until the Chinese PLA Navy ship ultimately left
Marie Louise Bank with speed of 9.4 knots.
ON RULES ON THE USE OF FORCE WITHIN THE PHILIPPINES’ EEZ’.
katubigan,” PCG said.
