Former president Benigno “Noynoy”
Aquino III died today Thursday (June 24) at the Capitol Medical Center.
He was 61 years old.

Noynoy never married and has no
children.
He is survived by his sisters
Kris, Ballsy Aquino-Cruz, Pinky Aquino-Abellada and Victoria Elisa Aquino-Dee.
The only son of former Senator
Benigno Aquino Jr. and former President Corazon Aquino.
He
served as the 15thPresident of the Republic from 2010 to 2016. Before this, he
was a senator from 2007 to 2010.
Aquino entered politics as representative of Tarlac’s second district
in 1998. He served for three consecutive terms until 2007.
Aquino's health condition was
put on the spotlight in December 2019. He was confined at a Makati hospital for
a week to undergo a scheduled medical checkup.
