Nangunguna kasi! VP Leni take a swipe at Trillanes over 2022 plans

Former senator Antonio Trillanes IV just got a subtle scolding from Vice President Leni Robredo when he said that people from the opposition shouldn’t be  making announcements in her behalf especially for the 2022 national elections.

It might be recalled that Robredo made a statement that she is still undecided of her plans for the next elections, run for the presidency or a local position.

“Open ako sa lahat na options. At ano iyong mga options na iyon? Tumakbo ako ng pangulo, tumakbo ako ng governor, tumakbo ako ng congressman—iyong dati kong posisyon, tumakbo ako ng mayor… o hindi na ako tumakbo at all—iyon iyong gusto ng mga anak ko,” she said on her radio show.

Robredo reveals that some alliances frown upon her because of her indecision as to her political plans. She explains that she is focused on addressing the Covid 19 crisis.
