Good News! 2 T-129B ATAK helicopters for PAF to be delivered in September

Good News for the Philippine Air Force (PAF).

The organization is finally gonna have their brand new attack helicopters.

“Based on latest developments, we are expecting the first two units of T-129 Attack Helicopters for the Philippine Air Force (PAF) to be delivered this September,” Department of National Defense Spokesperson Director Arsenio Andolong said as quoted by Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) radio DWDD.

The two units of T-129 Attack Helicopters for the Philippine Air Force (PAF) to be delivered this September, two more units will be delivered at around February of 2022, and 2 more in February 2023.

PAF’s 15th Strike Wing has reported a send-off ceremony was held for pilots and crew who will operate the upcoming Turkish T129 ATAK attack helicopters.

According to the 15th Strike Wing, the pilots and crew will be in Turkey until August this year. Training will be held at Turkish Aerospace Industries, Ankara, Turkey.
