2022 Presidential elections is
still a far way scenario and yet the political enemies of the incumbent administration
is seems to be making noise as early as now in the midst of this global
pandemic brought about by COVID-19.
Opposition and former senator Antonio
Trillanes IV in an interview with Politiskoop seems to have already made up his
mind as regards his bets for the upcoming 2022 presidential elections.
Trillanes has been open publicly supporting
Vice President Leni Robredo’s possible run for president.

In the same interview also
indicated that he already has a Vice President for 2022, fiercest critic of President
Duterte gave a clue about his bet for VP—the surname has a letter “P.”
He confirms that his group Magdalo
is planning to field him for the position of senator this coming 2022.
But he also clarified that he is
also open to the idea of running for the highest position if VP Robredo decides
to run for a lower position.
Trillanes even has a running mate
in mind, in case he ends up being the opposition’s standard better. He says the
surname of his possible running mate also has a letter “P.”
The former senator is among 1Sambayan’s
prospective candidates who may go against administration bets in next year’s
polls.
