On to the 5th year of his 6 year term of President Rodrigo Roa Duterte
and with the countless attacks on his foreign policy on China blasts the
previous administration with this still unanswered question:
“kung bright kayo bakit Nawala ang West Philippine Sea (WPS)?
In his latest nationally
televised addressed, he slammed former Supreme Court Justice Antonio Carpio and
former Foreign Affairs Secretary Albert Del Rosario for the country’s loss of
Scarborough Shoal to China in 2012.

“Isang tanong lang ako kay Carpio pati kay Albert. Kung bright kayo,
bakit nawala ang West Philippine Sea sa atin? Panahon ninyo ‘yon eh. Panahon
ninyo na talagang nandiyan kayo sa puwesto,” Duterte asked.
Previously the
former Supreme Court Associate Justice said that the diplomatic protests lodged
by the country as against China were being ignored because of the verbal
fishing agreement allegedly entered between President Rodrigo Duterte and
President Xi Jinping in 2016.
The former DFA Sec. Del Rosario, on one hand, said that “standing up for
our rights in the West Philippine Sea is not an act of war against China.”
Duterte has repeatedly said the Philippines can’t go to war against
Beijing as this will only result in the destruction of the country’s armed
forces.
