President Rodrigo Roa
Duterte slammed newly formed 1Sambayanan which is being publicly announced to
be the new opposition as against the administration allies of the President
which will be running for an election post this coming 2022.
Duterte critically
pointed out retired Supreme Court (SC) Associate Justice Antonio Carpio and his
1Sambayan coalition, saying they know nothing about politics.
The said coalition is
said to be a pro democracy group and personalities formed by Carpio which seeks
to field a unified slate to Challenge President Duterte’s candidates in the 2022
National and local elections.

“Iyan si Carpio, ‘wag
ka nang sumali sa politika, wala kang alam diyan para kang buang. ‘Yong grupo
mo puro… Tingnan mo ‘pag election, ‘di ba malampaso,” the Chief Executive said
during his televised address.
“Wala man kayong
ginawa para sa Pilipino. Anong ginawa ninyo? Puro papel. What have you done sa
Filipino? O kami, tingnan mong airport ng buong Pilipinas. Tingnan mo ‘yong
highway ni… Tingnan mo ang DILG wala ng reklamo, wala ng corruption, DSWD
ganoon,” he added.
A few days back the
retired SC Justice lambasted and accused the Chief Executive for his non action
with respect to the continued presence of Chinese vessels at the Julian Felipe
reef in the West Philippine Sea(WPS).
