The recent announcement of
President Rodrio Roa Duterte regarding the Lopez-owned and controlled ABS-CBN
Corporation has made some of the latter’s contract artist to slam anew the
former.
Contract artist and known critic
of the President Duterte- Agor Isidro and Enchong Dee slammed his statement
that he will block the operation of the Lopez-controlled ABS-CBN even if the
Congress has granted a new franchise.
“Congress is planning to restore the franchise of the Lopez.

“Wala akong problema doon kung i-restore ninyo.
Kung ibigay ninyo yung franchise because it is within your power to do it, go
ahead.
“If you say if they can operate kung meron na
sila [franchise], no. I will not allow them. I will not allow the NTC to grant
them the permit to operate.
“Unless and until mabayaran ng mga Lopez ang
taxes nila, I will ignore your franchise and I will not give them the license
to operate.
“Kalokohan ‘yan. Parang binigyan mo sila ng prize
for their being… for committing criminal acts,” Duterte said.
The statement was made despite a previous statement of the Bureau
of Internal Revenue (BIR) that
Agot and Enchong
Agot Isidro in her part said the
recent statement of Duterte is but a confirmation of whose to blame in the network’s
closure: “talaga ang nagpasara sa ABS-CBN.”
“Si Duterte. Hindi ang kongreso, hindi ang NTC. Utos niya, simula’t sapul.”
As for Enchong in his latest Twitter account said: “Andyan ka
pa rin?? Hoy Gising!
“Ang daming Pilipino naghihirap ngayon, yun muna
unahin natin…kahit wala kaming franchise nakakapagbigay serbisyo kami.”
