A foreign assistance
comes from the rich Arab country of Qatar.
A direct result of
the vibrant foreign relation policy of the Duterte administration.
Last December 4, a Qatar Emiri Air Force C-17 Globemaster transport aircraft carrying relief goods landed at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA).

The C-17
Globemaster was carrying relief goods donated by Qatar, through Qatar Fund for Development,
for the victims of Typhoon Ulysses (Vamco) that hit the Philippines recently.
“The distribution of
aid will be carried out by Qatar Red Crescent in coordination with the
Philippine Red Cross, while the Qatar Charity will focus on the distribution of
food baskets,” the Manila International Airport Authority said.
“Naglalaman ang
aircraft ng limampung tonelada ng relief goods na food at non-food items tulad
ng kumot, family tent, water sanitation facility, power generator, mosquito
nets, at inflatable boats,” the Presidential Communications Operations Office
said.
“Ang mga relief
items na ito ay agad ipapamahagi sa 2,500 pamilya sa lalawigan ng Cagayan at
Rizal na lubhang naapektuhan ng Bagyong Ulysses (Vamco), sa pakikipagtulungan
ng Philippine Red Cross,” it added.
