IV is a COVID-19 survivor?
Apparently he is, in his vlog tha t he posted
the senator admitted that he tested positive for the coronavirus last August 7 and
recovered from the illness a few weeks later.
He recountered his journey, saying that he got
the virus from an asymptomatic carrier of the virus. He immediately went on
self-isolation at home while he got treatment.

The former senator said he suffered moderate
symptoms such as fever, dry cough, headache, shortness of breath, nausea, among
others. Upon the advice of his doctor, he took medicines, vitamins, herbal
drinks, and even traditional Chinese medicine to fight the COVID symptoms.
“Sa awa ng Diyos, after six days simula nang
lumala ang pakiramdam ko nono august 15, nawala ang lagnat at karamihan ng
symptoms. Dahan-dahan din lumakas ang aking katawan hanggang nakapagpa-araw at
nag-exercise na ako,” he said.
“Finally noong August 28, or 23 days after nung
lumabas ang COVID symptoms ko, nagpa-swab test uli ako at naging negative na
ang resulta,” he said.
In the same vlog, he expressed his gratitude
for recovering but lamented that he did not felt the government’s service while
battling the coronavirus. He also mocked the supposed futile weekly public
address of President Duterte.
“Ano na lang ang silbi ng once-a-week na
trabaho ni Duterte para mapagaan data ang epekto ng pandemya sa mga Pilipino?”
he said.
“Walang partisipasyon ang gobyerno.
Kanya-kanyang diskarte na lang ang mga Pilipino,” he said.
Trillanes said while he wanted to be confined
at a hospital, it was not possible since the rooms were reserved for patients
that have severe infection.
“Sintomas ito na hindi na-increase ng gobyerno
ang capacity ng health care system natin simula noong Pebrero nang unang
pumutok ang pandemyang ito,” he said.
