South Korea remembers the Philippines in this time of need.
The Republic of Korea (South Korea) Navy (ROKN) fast combat
support ship ROKS Soyang (AOE 51) has conducted an exchange with
Philippine Navy(PN) BRP Conrado Yap (PS-39) offshore Manila, the ROK Navy
said November 17.
The exchange between the two naval vessels consist of three
high-speed boats, masks and sanitizers for COVID-19 response from the South
Korean side.

The donation bears the message “NOT ONCE HAVE WE FORGOTTEN
YOUR SACRED SACRIFICES.” Philippines is among the countries that supported
South Korea during the Korean War.
It was reported that the ROKS Soyang is part of ROK Navy
Cruise Training Task Group which is also composed of Chungmugong Yi Sun-sin-class
destroyer ROKS Gang Gam-chan (DDH-979).
