Trillanes doubts survey results for PRRD & Leni: Did Pulse Asia take a magic carpet ride to conduct poll during pandemic?

The number one supporter of the Vice President came to her rescue.

Former senator Antonio Trillanes IV slammed the recent survey result published by Pulse Asia and was even questioning its validity with respect to its truthfulness.

The recent Pulse Asia survey showed the President Rodrigo Roa Duterte’s approval and trust scores both at 91 percent, while that of Vice President Maria Leonor “Leni” Robredo received approval and trust ratings of 57 percent and 50 percent, in the Sept. 14-20 poll.

Robredo received the second lowest ratings among the country’s top government officials.

The president’s staunch critic asked how Pulse Asia conducted the national survey in the middle of the coronavirus pandemic.

“Just wondering how Pulse Asia was able to conduct a NATIONWIDE FACE-TO-FACE survey last September when domestic travel is very limited and primarily allowed for LSIs only? Papano, magic carpet ride?” trillanes said in his Twitter account.

The 91% approval rating jumped by 4 percentage points from the survey in December 2019.

The same Pulse Asia survey showed the 8-percentage point increase in the President’s trust rating to 91 percent.

With those numbers, President Rodrigo Duterte which has two years left in office, is the most trusted and approved government official based on the survey.
