Once again the people have spoken.
No amount of politicking and mudslinging can change the voice of the
majority, President Rodrigo Roa Duterte still has the support of the Filipino
people.
In the recent Pulse Asia survey, says it all the President continues to
enjoy a high trust and approval rating.
It shows that he is and remains to be the most trusted government
official in the country at 91 percent, an increase of eight percentage points
from December 2019.

Five percent disapproved of the President’s performance while five
percent were undecided, the survey conducted between September 14 and 20 showed.
As for the titular head of the opposition who has been constantly
criticizing the policies of Duterte, cannot show the same numbers that of the
President.
Vice-President Maria
Leonor “Leni” Robredo got an approval
rating of 57 percent, with 21 percent undecided and disapproval of 22 percent.
She received a 50 percent trust rating.
The same Pulse Asia survey
revealed that Senate President Vicente “Tito” Sotto III had 84 percent approval
rating and a 79 percent trust rating.
For the embattled House
Speaker Alan Peter Cayetano obtained a 67 percent trust rating, along with 19
percent undecided and 10 percent expressing disapproval. He obtained an
approval rating of 70 percent.
Supreme Court Chief
Justice Diosdado Peralta failed to score majority approval and trust ratings,
with 44 percent and 39 percent, respectively.
