A wishful thinking for this former leftist lawmaker.

“Sana all”, former Former Akbayan Rep. Tom Villarin is of the opinion that President Rodrigo Roa Duterte should also leave Malacanang as soon as possible.

This after Japan’s Prime Minister Shinzo Abe shocked the world by his resignation because of an illness which may the performance of his obligations and duties. For the reason that resignation is better than cling to the position until he dies “it would be best for the country to see him step down too.”

“Don’t bemoan. Be a man and resign too! Health is paramount,” the Akbayan lawmaker chided Duterte. “You need to live long. And face all your crimes & be meted with punishment.”

President Rodrigo Roa Duterte upon learning of the decision of his friend Prime Minister Shinzo Abe’s decision to resign because of health issues said he will be praying for his “speedy and full recovery.”

"It is with much regret that I learned of Prime Minister Abe Shinzo's resignation. Through many years of our engagement, I have seen a leader with a bold vision and firm determination to do what was best for his country and our region,” the president said in an official statement
