Duterte has a twisted sense of right and wrong - Antonio Trillanes

Opposition’s attack dog has recently barked a lot of allegations against President Rodrigo Roa Duterte which we all know has the intention to besmirched the reputation of the Chief Executive and for political purposes this coming 2022 elections.

Former Antonio Trillanes IV has said that Duterte has a “twisted sense” of right and wrong as evidenced by his decision to grant convicted US Marine Joseph Scott Pemberton a presidential pardon.

Trillanes adds, while he grants pardon to Pemberton, on the other side of the coin Duterte’s administration’s war on illegal drugs has left many drug suspects dead.

“Duterte didn’t only pardon Pemberton, he also put in a good word for him,” Trillanes tweeted last September 8.

“Juxtapose that with the thousands he killed for being “suspected” addicts and you’ll see a man with a twisted sense of what’s right and wrong. #JusticeForJenniferLaude,” he said.

It might be remembered that President Duterte granted convicted US Marine Joseph Scott Pemberton a presidential pardon after serving six years of his 10-year prison sentence for the killing of Jennifer Laude. Duterte gave the pardon as the convicted marine was given unfair treatment after authorities were unable to properly compute his good conduct time allowance under the country’s law.
