Opposition is really making the noise to this issue since if it is true, it will be perpetuate the stay of the President in Malacanang, which since the time of his election they have been trying to destabilize.

Former senator Antonio Trillanes made known publicly his opposition to the declaration of a revolutionary government as proposed by the small pro-Duterte group that made a letter that went viral recently.

He slammed the group for their proposal of the scheme under the “zombie-like” Duterte. He even asked what kind of vice the allies of the President when they came up with the idea.

“The same people who pushed the corrupt, incompetent and murderous duterte in 2016 are now pushing for revgov under zombie-like duterte. WTF are these guys smoking?” Trillanes said in his Aug. 22 tweet.

 

Vice President Robredo also reacts calls is ill-timed and illegal

 

In her weekly radio show “SerbisyongLeni”, Vice President Robredo slammed the idea and even called such call for a “rev gov” is illegal.

“Ang laking kalokohan niyan, Ka Ely. Una, ano ba iyong gustong sabihin ng call for revolutionary government? Ang gustong sabihin, ang hinihingi dito, itapon iyong Konstitusyon natin. Diyan pa lang, ilegal na iyan,” she said.
