Veteran journalist slams Robredo's SONA : “HINDI PA RIN NAGBABAGO. DESTABILIZER PA RIN"

 

Vice President recently had her own “state of the nation address” a 20 minute speech where she said that  “no one is at the helm, no direction, no clear horizon as to when and how this pandemic will be addressed”.

Robredo also said: “As if we should shoulder the blame of infections and death, for being too undisciplined, as we have been called. As if we have nothing to expect from our leaders – or there are no leaders at all. As if we have been left to fend for ourselves.”

She even called on the country to “expect and demand more” from the country’s leaders.

This act of the President did not sit well with veteran journalist Mr. Ermin Garcia, in his Facebook post he said the Vice President has not changed at all after four years in to their 6 year term with the President, she is still the number one destabilizer of the Duterte administration.

Maraming umasa na sa gitna ng pandemya, ay maririnig nila ang VP na himukin ang mga kababayan na magkaisa at makipagtulungan sa govt para malabanan ng husto ang pandemya. Pero bigo sila.

Mali na naman ang lumabas sa bibig ng Leni Robredo. Tuloy pa rin ang paninira sa Duterte administration sa paniniwalang sya na ang pwedeng susuportahan ng bayan.

WRONG NA, MISTAKE PA.”

He claims the Vice President failed in painting the picture that Duterte is inutile and not capable in addressing this health pandemic brought about by the COVID-19 crisis.

“Walang pinag-iba ang na kinalalagyan natin sa ibang bansa. Pareho ang problema - tumataas ang Infection at nasira ang ekonomiya. Pero sa salita nya, Pilipinas lang ang may ganyang problema - -dahil ddaw sa nawawalang confidence sa govt. Duh?? Mukhang kagigising lang nya.”

WRONG NA, MISTAKE PA.

In her first national TV appearance during our critical period, she simply showed she's the last card after all destanization plots failed. Sadly, the script written for her to read did not match the messenger's (Leni) known capabilities as a leader.

While she vainly attempted to establish that the citizenry has lost confidence in PRRD, she did not evoke the confidence in her by her statements. It was still the same narrative about destabilizing govt only this time, she dared to point to the 80% supporters as the complaining lot.

Nice shot but sorely missed the target.

She was still echoing the same gripes of the 3%, her desperate allies.

The only visible change in her well rehearsed delivery was the decision to change her image by wearing a fashionable pair of eyeglasses. Yes, that worked, and some visual effects for emphasis.

The handlers tried to make her look and sound emphatic and deliberate but she came across as fakey. Her delivery could not be convincing because she's always been seen and heard speak with so much uncertainty - "baka..siguro..."

Every problem she cited was obvious, aren't we in the middle of a national crisis, same crisis being experienced even by the most advanced countries?

She cited solutions like govt, business sector never discussed these. The problem with her assessment is her sources of information are largely from the 3% sector that couldn't know better than what they want to believe.

If she only rallied people to be optimistic, hopeful and to fully cooperate with govt, she'd be the new darling today. But hopeless case talaga.

Her 2022, launch crashed. But nothing new there.
