President Duterte’s advice to drug dealers: Quit trade, pursue farming!

The President of the republic has another advise for those who continue to commit in the business of the illegal trade.

President Rodrigo Roa Duterte in his latest national public address from Davao city,he urges the drug dealers to stop their illegal trade and start a new life.

“Umiwas ka sa droga, magtanim ka sa bukid. Diyan sa palengke maraming negosyo diyan,” the Chief Executive said.

While there’s a lot of money in drug dealing, Duterte said that such could also put lives at risk.

“Huwag kang magpabili ng droga. May pera diyan, malaking pera diyan, pero ‘pag magkamali ka, buhay mo talaga ang iiwan mo,” he added.

In Davao all along

The political enemies of the President floated the idea that he went clandestinely in Singapore last weekend to seek medical treatment.

This washed and clarified when Senator Christopher “Bong” Go in a Facebook live video said he has not left the country.

“Well as you can see clearly, I’ve been in Davao all along,” the President said.

“Umiiwas tayo ng COVID (coronavirus). The admonition is wash your hands, wear a mask, cover your eyes and stay home. That’s what I did. Andito po ako sa Davao. Huwag po kayong maniwala,” he added.
