South Korea has time
and time again showed that it values its friendship with the Philippines.
The Government of
South Korea just announced that 200,000 face masks (KF94) is being sent as
donation to the Philippines through Republic Of Korea (ROK) Air Force C-130
transport aircraft, July 16.
Also South east Asian

“The ROK government provided COVID-19
diagnostic kits (worth 500,000 U.S. dollars) to the Philippines in April.
Considering the recent spread of COVID-19, the government has decided to
provide face masks in additional humanitarian assistance,” South Korea Ministry
of Foreign Affairs said.
“The ROK government hopes that ROK’s humanitarian
assistance for COVID-19 response would join the international community’s
efforts to overcome the global health crisis caused by COVID-19 and contribute
to enhancing friendly and cooperative relations between countries,” it added.
South Korea’s
continuing help to the Philippines
Last April 24, the
South Korean government also donated to the Philippines much needed test kits in
its fight against the coronavirus pandemic.
