An early case of politicking?

Ms. Regine Velasquez-Alcasid this early called on the public for the sake of the country to elect only those politicians who will truly serve their mandate bearing in mind the welfare of the many.

“Noon pa man kaming mga artista at singers na ang ginagamit para mangampanya. Gamitin natin ang impluwensya natin para maihalal ang mga nararapat.TAMA NA SA MGA TRAPO!” Regine said in Twitter.

She used familiar hastags such as #wehavethepower, #IbalikAngABSCBN at #KapamilyaForever all of which are being used by those who have been supporting ABS-CBN.

The post was done prior to the denial of Congress of the legislative franchise of the Lopez-owned Kapamilya network, ABS-CBN Corporation.

Regine is but one of the many celebrities who openly and publicly supports the Kapamilya network.

Celebrities outside the Kapamilya shows support

Celebrities in the rival station also have voiced their support for the beleaguered media giant.

Jennylyn Mercado a homegrown talent of GMA Network has also made social media as her platform making known her opinion known to everyone that she sympathizes with her fellow celebrities.

One of her social post said:

"Sa mga taong tuwang tuwa sa mga pangyayari, huwag niyo sana danasin ang lumuha din at mawalan.Hindi ba tinuruan tayo ng ating mga magulang na maging makatao sa kapwa? Rejoicing because of other people’s sorrow is not only wrong, but inhumane.

You are cruel."
