Korina to solons hearing the ABS-CBN franchise: Think about what is right, not pork barrel & "palakasan system"

Veteran broadcaster and certified Kapamilya since the post 1986 EDSA revolution made a statement ahead of the House of Representatives’ vote on whether or not to grant the franchise bid of the Lopez-controlled ABS-CBN corporation.

Korina Sanchez who is also the better half of former Department of Interior and Local Government (DILG) Secretary and senator Mar Roxas made an appeal to the lawmakers to vote based on what is right and not because they are worried of their pork barrel or “palakasan” system.

“To all Congressmen in the Committee voting on this: more than the pork barrel you think you need from the Executive, more than your palakasan system—— hoping you try to think about what is RIGHT and how your names will forever be etched in historic infamy, kasama ba ang mga anak at apo ninyo na dala ang pangalan ninyo, if you decide against what is RIGHT. 💚” she said.

“FACTUALLY, WALA PANG NAPAPATUNAYAN NA VIOLATIONS ANG ABSCBN ON EVERYTHING THROWN AT THE NETWORK regarding operations and dues to government and people and employees, since this zarzuela started,” she said.
