Fearless Kapuso
homegrown talent Jennylyn Mercado did not hesitate her own punches against
those bashers who are shouting boycott of her projects in GMA-7.
The threat came as
she has been voicing out her support for the now permanently closed ABS-CBN Corporation’s
Kapamilya network and its employees.
One netizen said: “Sige
lahat ng shows mo, endorsement mo, imamarket namin para iboycott!”

Jennylyn did not back out to the threat and even retorted in a Tweet that:
“I know what I’m risking the moment i speak up. Walang mangyayari if you
always play it safe.
“I will be forever grateful to the advertisers that supported and
supports me. The decision to speak up is something that i will never regret,” the
Kapuso celebrity said.
“Alam kong suportado ako ng home network ko na nagturo sa king maging
matatag at manindigan para sa tama.
“Hindi ako makakatulog sa gabi pag alam kong hindi ko nagamit ang aking
boses para ipaglaban ang mga naapi at nawalan.
“Hindi kaya ng konsensya ko yun. Kung gusto niyo po akong iboycott
Tanggap ko yun,” aniya pa.
She also clarified the news spreading in
social media that the reason she is creating noise because she is a stockholder
of the ABS-CBN Corporation.
“No. Imbento yan.”
The girlfriend of Dennis
Trillo explains that she really cant stomach the idea of Congress shutting down
the Kapamilya network to the detriment of 11,000 employees who will be rendered
jobless during these tring times of the pandemic.
“Milyong milyong Pilipino ang nawalan na ng trabaho dahil sa pandemya at
sa desisyon ng mga may kapangyarihan.
“Libo libo na ang nagkakasakit at overcapacity na ang mga hospital.
“Pagod na pagod na ang ating mga bayaning medical frontliner. Ano na ba
talaga ang plano?”
“Paano mo kakalimutan ang mga simpleng empleyado na paycheck to
paycheck na ngayon wala ng pagkukunan ng pambili ng pagkain sa pamilya
nila?
“Tuloy pa rin ang laban para sa Bawat Pilipino.”
