of the dream run to Malacanang in 2022?.
Vice President Lei Robredo deflected the allegations
that she has been receiving special treatment from the media giant, as she is also been victimized
by their reporting.
The Vice President confirms the report issued by the Kapamilya network that
some of her political ads didn’t air during the 2016 elections’ campaign
period.

“Marami akong ads na hindi na-air. Maraming mga
pagkakataon—lalo kami na naninilbihan sa taumbayan—maraming pagkakataon na
nararamdaman namin na hindi fair, hindi fair sa amin,” she said.
Without naming names, she said “several” people
inside the network didn’t treat her fairly.
“Sa ABS-CBN mismo, marami diyang… maraming mga
taga-ABS-CBN na hindi naging fair sa akin,” she said.
But she made it clear that this is not perfect
time to to settle scores as ABS-CBN’s franchise renewal is an issue of great
public interest.
The bid for anew 25
year legislative franchise was denied when Congress with a vote of 70-11, because
of several alleged legal violations, one of which its political biases.

that the Lopez-controlled Kapamilya network have given favorable coverage to
the Pnoy Aquino administration
