Angelica Panganiban
an erstwhile President Rodrigo Roa Duterte is in the news again, this time
taking a stand against the government in behalf of the 11,000 employees about
to be retrenched brought about by the permanent closure of the Lopez-controlled
ABS-CBN Corporation.
“Nanahimik dahil
nila. At dumating na ang araw na napakahirap tanggapin,” she wrote in her Twitter
account
Panganiban also lamented
the country’s leaders misaligned priorities, focusing in their personal
interest instead of the nation’s.

Bakit? Kasi
siguro yun ang makatao,” she said.

She asked the people
who are supporting the closure of the Lopez-controlled ABS-CBN to treat them as
humans because they have just lost their livelihood.

“Paano niyo kayang
asked.
