Presidential
Spokesperson Harry Roque has been receiving his own criticisms from those who
are opposing the policies of the Duterte administration.
One controversial
issue is the permanent closure of the Lopez-controlled ABS-CBN Corporation many
of the latter’s supporters are blaming President Rodrigo Roa Duterte.

In her Facebook post
Locsin her dismay for the government official when he did the comparison ABS-CBN’s
contribution vis a vis the contribution of the Manauel V.Pangilinan group of
companies and the Ayala group.
“Pambihira. Imbes na magpasalamat at may sumalo, nagawa mo pang
tulugsain.
“Kusang loob po iyan at hindi obligasyon dahil government naman po talaga dapat ang gagawa neto pero humingi po kayo ng tulong di ba, kasi hindi kaya?

Locsin in her different social media post, showed a list of donations given by the Lopez group to the Duterte administration in its fight against the COVID-19 health pandemic. It showed almost P268 million pesos given by the station.
Under its “Pantawid
ng Pag-ibig” campaign ABS-CBN was able to collect more than P427 million
in cash donations at pledges.
Roque’s statement
“I know you donated P200 million of your own money, but the rest, you
raised from your TV programs, through your cause for donation.
“But these two companies did it on their own. I do not know why ABS-CBN
could not have done more, ‘no, like what the Ayalas and MVPs did,”
