A few days ago
a post done by Philippines’ pride Ms. Lea Salonga has gone viral.

In the said controversial
post Ms. Salonga said, “Dear Pilipinas, p***** ina, ang hirap mong mahalin”
Netizens went
ablaze and had them reacting to the said post eliciting pro and anti Le Salonga
reactions. Mostly surprise why would she bad mouth her motherland which she
have represented in the different parts of the world before.

Salonga
received a lot of hate comments and was dismayed in her actions fully knowing
the different international accolades she got from the different parts of the
world and proudly declaring her country-Philippines.
Veteran
actress Ms. Vivian Velez did not let the said post left unanswered, day after
Lea posted her frustration Velez posted something on her own Facebook account.
“Philippine history is pockmarked with painful legacies. When will you
guys realize this rotten system Duterte seeks to dismantle would not just fade
without giving a fight... the oligarchy, political opposition, the druglords
and their protectors, human rights activists, NPAs, terrorists... all going against
the president to stop change, not to mention the foreign intervention.

We are on a correcting stage and unity is our lifejacket at this
increasingly divisive time. I say, let's love our country flaws and all.
