Palpak ng Gobyerno, Tao naghihirap: Diokno slams Duterte admin for lack of public tranport




Opposition and Human rights lawyer Chel Diokno is constant in his criticism against the policies of the current administration.
Diokno is also the chair of the Free Legal Assistance Group (FLAG) slams the Duterte government for the failure to provide the public a decent, workable and ample public transportation.


“Gobyerno ang nagkukulang sa pagpaplano at pagresponde sa krisis, pero ordinaryong mamamayan lagi ang may kasalanan,” he stated in his latest social media post.

“Kung totoong may malasakit kayo, hindi ba dapat bigyan ninyo ng maayos na mga alternatibo sa transportasyon yung tao imbis na ikulong?” he pointed out.
Diokno went to help father and son  Pedro Munez and his son Paulo when both were arrested, both are construction workers.


Both were arrested when they were seen riding a motorcycle together on their way to work at a construction site in violation of the COVID-19 quarantine protocols.

When they were asked the father, Pedro told the authorities that he asked his son to allow him to ride his motorcycle due to the current situation were there is no public mass transport available.
