the Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) Western Mindanao Command (WESTMINCOM),
The Communist Party
of the Philippines (CPP) armed wing the New People’s Army (NPA) perpetuated
this treacherous and economic sabotage amidst the current pandemic the country
is experiencing into brought about by the novel coronavirus of 2019 disease or
simply known as COVID-19.

“Thorough investigation is ongoing while our troops
are conducting pursuit operation to neutralize the perpetrators,” said Major
General Diosdado Carreon, JTF Central Commander.
“While we continue to work for peace, our enemies
never cease to sow fear in the communities,” said Lieutenant General Cirilito
Sobejana, WESTMINCOM Commander. “Rest assured that we will intensify our
military and intelligence operations to disrupt the desperate plots of the terrorists.”
