A lot of the
opposition senators are in double time mode in their bid to stop the
Anti-Terrorism bill being signed into law, one of which is senator Risa
Hontiveros.
She said that there
will be no hesitation on her part to join a group or personally in questioning
the constitutionality of the Anti-Terrorism Act in the Supreme Court once the
said law is signed by President Rodrigo Roa Duterte.
lipunan,” said senator Hontiveros.

The opposition senator
reveals that she has been talking and consulting to legal experts about the
next possible move after President Rodrigo Roa Duterte signs the said law.
said.
Suprema,” Hontiveros added.
Hontiveros and
Francis “Kiko” Pangilinan were the only senators who voted against the proposed
measure that will amend the Human Security Act of 2017.
The lady senator also
reveals that she has been coordinating with Albay representative Edcel Lagman,
one of the primary oppositors of the proposed measure in the House of
Representatives, for the possible
remedies the opposition might take once the said enrolled bill is signed into
law.
she added.
