Duterte to Trillanes: Puro ka lang daldal!...you did nothing but to glorify yourself"

President Rodrigo Roa Duterte is not hitting any brakes as regards former Senator Antonio Trillanes IV.

In his latest public address, the President accused the Magdalo senator of doing nothing but complain in every chance he gets.

“Ikaw Trillanes, maligaya ka sa nangayari sa buhay ng Pilipino ngayon? Puro ka lang daldal, always complaining and yet your, kapwa mong sundalo nagtatrabaho. Mga mistah mo nagtatrabaho. Ikaw you rebelled against the government, almost destroying the Republic” the President said.

“You rebelled against the government, almost destroying the Republic. You’ve been a senator (yet) you did nothing but to glorify yourself,” he added.

Trillanes has been constant in criticizing what he deems insufficient or lack thereof sound policies by the Duterte administration with respect to battling the novel coronavirus 2019 disease or COVID-19.

Recently Trillanes have been urging the Department of Transportation (DOTr) to allow the jeepney drivers and operations to resume their operation to ease the burden and hardships of the daily commuters.

He even insinuated that there is a group that is blocking the said resumption of operations of the jeepney's to pave way for the modern ones to ply the usual routes.

“I have been hearing that there is a deeper agenda in the banning of jeepneys,” he said.

“Sino kaya ang distributor/manufacturer nung mga modern jeeps duterte is pushing? Assuming mga 200k new jeeps multiplied by 100k patong per unit = 20 billion ang kita! Kaya pala!” he added.
