VP Leni and Mayor Vico off to a good partnership amid

It was widely reported that the young Pasig Mayor has admired the dedication of the late Department of Interior and Local Government (DILG) Secretary Jesse Robredo.

In his August 2018 Twitter post, Sotto said "I never had the chance to meet Jesse Robredo, but I'm so thankful for his life and all that I've learned from his wisdom & leadership, even if only indirectly through mutual friends, reading, and videos.”

So when the Vice President Leni Robredo the spouse of the late DILG secretary partnered with the Pasig City local government unit (LGU) for the community mart project it was deemed a good start for both parties.

On the site visit of the Vice President , she was happy and overwhelmed by the warm reaction of the public to the project.

Robredo expressed her thanks to Pasig City Mayor Vico Sotto and his young and proactive team.

Also, the Vice President expressed optimism that she can help more vendors and tricycle drivers from her partnership with the Pasig LGU.
