Veteran broadcaster and former ABS-CBN news anchor Jay Sonza has
no ill feeling or remorse for her former home when it was issued a cease and
desist order by the National Telecommunications Commission (NTC) which was
immediately executory.
And since Tuesday night (May 5) the Lopez owned television
network has been off the air in compliance with the said NTC order.
A lot of the tv station’s supporters have been voicing their
utter disgust and anger in social media for what happened.
One of its veteran broadcaster Ms. Karen Davilla made it known
his opinion via Twitter:

Sa dami problema
ng Pilipinas…sa dami ng may sakit at namamatay sa Covid…sa laki ng problema
ngayon sa ekonomiya… sa dami ng nawalan ng trabaho dahil sa covid….
Talagang
pagpapatigil ng ABS-CBN ang inatupag nila. Hindi ko maintindihan nasaan ang
puso ng mga ito.

You are asking for the government to
go after big fishes. Puwes, heto na iyon. The biggest of them all.
Your network is being shutdown
because it is continuing to commit a crime of defying the Constitution and the
law.
Don't even give us that
press freedom bullshit.
