PNP's Special Action Force receives Russian made trucks & command troop carriers




Good News for the country’s national police.

The Philippine National Police (PNP) receives its Russian made command trucks and troop carriers as part of its continuing modernization of the organization.


The acquisition of the brand new equipment that led to the PNP having its first Russian made Ural trucks were through Cebu based ConEquip Philippines.

The PNP has specifically asked for the said Russian trucks with the configurations that would help/suit the Philippine National Police’s Special Action Force or SAF.

The newly acquired Ural trucks were presented during the blessing ceremony as part of the PNP-SAF’s 37th SAF Founding Anniversary celebration on May 16 at Headquarters SAF, Camp Bagong Diwa, Bicutan, Taguig City.

As per the PNP-SAF, the anniversary celebration was held observing health and safety protocols on the COVID-19 pandemic.

Police General Archi Gamboa graced the event as guest of honor and speaker.
