Social media personality Francis Leo Marcos or
Norman Mangusing in real life is in deep trouble as the National Bureau of
Investigation (NBI) said it will file
more charges.
NBI Cybercrime Division chief Vic Lorenzo said
the charges set to be filed against the social media personality will include large
scale estafa and qualified human trafficking, both of which are non-bailable.

Mangusing
remains to be detained with the NBI despite posting a a P30,000 bail for
violation of the optometry law due to the non-bailable charges set to be filed
against him.
Lorenzo said the NBI is also looking into Mangusing’s ownership of
expensive cars and houses since he has no known business.
“Those real estate properties and luxury cars
were not under his name, no business under his name, even as simple as the DTI
permit,” the NBI official said.
The NBI
Cybercrime Division chief said the detention of Marcos stemmed from the
requests for investigation filed by residents of Green Meadows, Quezon City,
where he was supposedly lived.
“May mga nag-file sa kanya ng request for investigative assistance
against nga kay Marcos,” he explained.
There is an existing arrest warrant against
Marcos and two others on charges of violating the Revised Optometry Law of 1995,
which was issued by the Baguio City Regional Trial Court (RTC) Branch 60 issued
on February 14, 2018
It was also found out that Marcos admitted a
holder of two passports under two different names.
“We are also investigating how he was able to
get these passports, and the process involved to acquire the document,” he said.
