Nalintikan na! VP Leni seeks clarification on COVID-19 ‘fresh cases,’ ‘late cases’ classification

The Vice President of the Republic wants the Department of Health (DOH) to be more thorough in explaining the latest novel coronavirus 2019 disease (COVID-19) cases of infection in the country most especially when they say “fresh cases” or “late cases.”

In her weekly Sunday radio show, Vice President Leni Robredo said she “does not understand the logic behind such classification.”

Hindi pala iyon,” Robredo said.

Ely Saludar, her co-anchor in “BISErbisyong LENI
weekly radio show said there should be a clarification on the newly laid classification of cases, to which the Vice President agreed.

Oo, nakakalito kung bakit kailangan iyong ganito,” said VP Robredo.

  1. Ang pagkakaintindi ko iyong “late” cases ay iyong mga hindi naireport on time (within 3-days) for whatever reason at iyong “fresh” cases ay iyong reported within 3 days of the day of reporting.
