Maria Ressa strikes again!
In an interview with an international media
outfit - ABC News Australia, Rapper founder and chief executive officer Maria
Ressa clais that the Lopez owned media network ha 11 million employees.
Speaking on ABC News Australia’s “The World”
Saturday (May 9), Ressa said: “This is a network that has 11 million employees
while I was still handling the news group.”

Netizen MJ Quiambao-Reyes, who posted a clip
of Ressa’s interview on Twitter, said the Rappler executive’s claim was
laughable at best.
“PINOCCHIA-NG-INA! Yung 11K nga malaking
kalokohan na, naging 11M pa. And she calls herself a journalist,”
Quiambao-Reyes tweeted.
With this major misrepresentation “fake news”
Ressa’s credibility has crumbled into pieces as her Rappler is one of two
designated by Facebook as fact checkers for content posted by other media
entities.
Maria Ressa’s blunder, however, shows Rappler
is as capable of spreading fake news as other media groups it’s flagging for
alleged erroneous or misleading content.
