The possibility of a 2nd or 3rd wave of
the novel coronavirus 2019 disease or COVID-19 infection s not a remote
possibility, that is why Malacanang had also said extension of the enhanced
community quarantine is not far fetched.
Malacanang made it known the possibility
of the extension of he enhanced community quarantine is a go if there will be a
marked increased in the number of coronavirus cases in areas placed under the general
community quarantine (GCQ).
said
“Kung makikita po talaga ng
(Inter-Agency Task Force on Emerging Infectious Diseases) na bagama’t bahagya
ECQ,” added Roque.

The spokesperson made an example of the
situation in Singapore where it was previously praised by the World Health
Organization (WHO) but experienced a spike in the numbers of infected COVID-19
patients.
he further said.
