ABS-CBN veteran broadcast journalist and the
better half of former senator and Presidentiable Mar Roxas- Korina Sanchez-Roxas is striking back as
she is fed up with all the Kapamilya bashers.
A day after the closure of the Lopez owned
ABS-CBN, Sanchez did not held back as she released pent up anger against
Solicitor General Jose Calida and the other bashers of her network.
She branded Calida as the “mother of viruses.” “Ewan ko baket di pa yan kinikidlat,” the latter is the one responsible for the filing of a quo warranto proceeding in the Supreme Court to revoke the franchise of ABS-CBN.

Korina has been with the Lopez owned tv
station since 1986, patience was unheard of when she replied to the different
posts in her Instagram page, “Oh Puhleeeez itama mo muna ingles mo o kaya
magtagalog ka nalang kaya,” she said.
She did not even thought twice to fire back
when a netizen brought up the Yolanda funds connecting her husband Mar Roxas
“Nag-aran ka ba ha? So naiintindihan mo ang LAHAT ng result ng
inquiry na WALAng kinalaman si Mar sa Yolanda funds? O bingi at bulag ka?
Tanungin mo si Ping Lacson ano nangyari sa pondo,” she said.
Another post from a netizen’s alleging that ABS-CBN is using its
employees to escape the law, Korina commented: “OH PUHLEEEZ. Employee ka?”
“Nasagot na po lahat yan. Do your homework before you comment on
my page,” she said.
In her Instagram account she posted this:

Upon the
restoration of press freedom after the 1986 Revolution, young journalists then
regained what had been lost for more than 20 years and just pushed it to the
limits of this newfound power.
This is the power of media to speak up, put
government to task and give the people their voice back.
A show called HOY!
Gising! was born. Unheard of. We would lambast the very same administration who
gave us back this power to monitor them and require acceptable service. And we
had no fear of repercussion. Walang gantihan noon. Walang journalist na takot
noon. Walang preno. The system,
this way, corrects itself. But, wow. How far
back have we pedalled from a shining bright moment in our story as a people.
While I miss this moment, 30 or so years later, I realize we still have another chance at another bright, shining moment. It won't happen, if we don't speak up. Sa mga sarili naten ang sigaw ko: “HOY! GISEEEEEEENG!”.
