China is extending its helping hand to the
Philippines as against the novel coronavirus 2019 disease or COVID-19.
China donated again to the Philippines the
much needed COVIS-19 testing kits and protective equipment.
According to the Department of Foreign Affairs
(DFA) the first batch of the 150,000 test kits and 18,000 disposable
overalls arrived Saturday, while the rest are expected to arrive Sunday night
via a chartered flight.

DFA Secretary Teodoro Locsin Jr. was there to
witness and received the said donations from Chinese Ambassador to the
Philippines Huang Xilian in a ceremony.
China already donated thousands of test kits
and medical gear to the country and has also sent a team of medical experts,
some of whom had frontline experience in Wuhan City, the first epicenter the
virus and where it originated originated.
The DFA have already told the public that the
Chinese donations for the Philippines novel coronavirus 2019 disease or COVID-19
is no way related to its expansive aspirations in the West Philippine Sea (WPS)
